Men’s Residential Treatment Program

The Men’s Residential Treatment Program at Heartwood Recovery provides a refuge for men seeking healing from the torment of drug and alcohol addiction.  We are located in South Austin, TX.  At our facility, we have a carefully planned program that aims to create an intimate environment, fostering active participation from men in their healing journey alongside peers and staff.  We recognize that recovering from alcohol and drug addiction necessitates a comprehensive strategy to effectively tackle all aspects of the individual’s recovery journey.

Our Residential Treatment Program is designed to provide comprehensive clinical and medical care, address fitness and nutrition needs, and offer recovery-oriented skills through a compassionate and supportive approach that integrates the 12-Steps philosophy.  Upon admission, our team initiates the development of a support system for each resident.  This includes assigning a primary clinician, recovery advocate, case manager, and peer support to assist the resident throughout their stay.

On awakening to retiring at night, the residential program provides individual and group interactions designed to support residents in developing and implementing effective strategies to manage their thoughts, emotions and behaviors.  Community integration is a vital piece of the recovery process, which is why in addition to on campus groups, we offer several off campus activities per week.  A supportive reintegration into the community is necessary to evaluate learned skills and address treatment planning needs. 

Heartwood Recovery was established in 2017.  We have a robust alumni network surrounding the campus in Austin, Texas.  Our residents are integrated into the support system of the residential campus and have the opportunity to connect with local men who continue to experience freedom from drug and alcohol addiction.  If you or a loved one are struggling to navigate problem areas in your life including substance use, our team, alumni and resources on our sanctuary campus are here to provide you with a sense of community, direction, and relief.
